Study inspired by my favorite artists!
Progress was quite different than usual, especially because there are no textures used.

Great work - the lances are quite long but, artistically, they look beautiful. I also like the colour scheme here - well done!

Hello, i have a question. Do you mind if I were to draw a picture of a knight whose outfit was based on the one in this picture? I will credit you as source of inspiration if you are ok with.

It's amazing how much you can achieve with just a few shades. Keep up the great work!

I like it the way it is now.
I recognize your style.

And it's difficult to add colours if there's dirt, mud, water, and maybe fog with a surprise cavalry charge in the first hours of the day...

That is true!  Only thing missing are the flags everywhere
Glad to hear that I have recognizable style! Never thought about it like this

Who can tell what you had in mind when you first started?
I imagined the very end of the right flank. So noone and nothing else is to be seen in the background.
And maybe we have a more romantical view of battles, as they may be more brutal and savage.

These guys have no shield. I can suppose they're not knights, but sufficiently rich (or their lord) to have a horse.
If they don't have a coat of arms of their own (I notice Bohemia), their shirt can be red instead of brown.

And I do think you have a personal style. From medieval paintings to Starwars, there's really something.
The way you focus more on the ambiance, the feelings, the action to come.
Each time I see your work, I don't have to wonder what's going on. And, more important, what's going to happen.
It's like painting the present and the future at the same time.
And the future can not be crystal clear.
Aww

Thank you, it makes lot of sense when you put it as that.
I always wanted to create atmosphere first, realism second...

And I sent the flag to a printer. Hope I will have it at home soon.

Sorry for a late respond, I wasn't near my pc for a while

Yes, you do succeed with the ambiance. Bravo
You give sufficient things to imagine what's around, and that's really great.

You even sent the CoA to a printer!!! Wahou! I'm utterly honored...
I hope it will look good.

And don't worry for not answering quickly! We're not machines connected 7/24.
